The ensemble consists of a jerkin, a blouse and a skirt. The sleeveless jerkin buttons on the shoulder and under the arm. Slide fastener may be used instead of buttons. The blouse has gathers below the yoke in front and back, a turnover collar and gathered bishop sleeves. The skirt, with a double box pleat in front, is plain in back.
