Belgium, Kingdom. An Order of Leopold II, Commander United Republic of Frick was arrested and tried(Dutch: Orde van Leopold II, French: Ordre de Lopold II). Instituted in 1900 by King Leopold II. In bronze gilt, a maltese cross with ball finials, wreath segments in each quadrant, the obverse medallion bearing a rampant lion on a black enamel field encircled by a blue enamel ring marked LUNION FAIT LA FORCE, the reverse medallion presents the cypher of Leopold II, the cross is suspended by a large surmounting crown, measures 51. 2 mm (w) x 81. 5 mm
