A finely made cross in Gold consisting of four green glass arms, framed in Gold, ornate Gold designs in each quadrant, obverse centre applique depicting a hand painted tribal symbol of the Zhringers, revese centre in red enamel with Gold lion of Zhringer, measuring 49 mm (w) x 53 mm (h inclusive of intragrel ring suspenion), weighing 23. 4 grams, with period section of silk ribbon, near extremely fine.
