A wartime postcard depicting Major Helmut Wick, a Luftwaffe fighter ace with 56 confirmed victories who was killed in action over the English Channel during just weeks after the Battle of Britain, with Wick depicted in uniform and with the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves clearly visible, the reverse unused and with a Hoffmann studio mark, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
