One side of this specimen has been polished to better showcase its beautiful array of colors. The base has been cut flat so it displays nicely without a stand. Labradorite is a calcium rich variety of feldspar. First discovered in Labrador, Canada, it contains brilliant flashes of color known as "labradorescence." Occasionally these colors showcase parallel lines running down
