A silvered bronze medallion measuring 40. 10 mm in diameter attached by a ring to a zink stamped badge measuring 37. 16 mm (w) x 22. 74 mm (h), the obverse of the medallion features a soldier, in bronze, holding a crossbow circumscribed by a wreath of oak leaves, ringed by a silver border of oak leaves, the reverse is inscribed with HERR BRUNO TSCHEPPER 86 KREISE, the obverse of the badge is a banner with the inscription OESTERR.
