Affixed to the peak is a brass insignia consisting of a Prussian imperial eagle clutching an orb and sceptre
he became Corps Sapper Leader of the 2nd SS Panzer Corps and fought in the Third Battle of Kharkov
exhibiting oxidation and gilt wear overall

Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1854 1918 issue). Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant starburst, overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a hand painted red Prussian imperial eagle, surrounded by a white enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of SINCERE ET CONSTANTER (SINCERE AND STEADFAST), in turn
