1986 produced a plentiful harvest of high quality-- deep garnet in color

The wines are aged on fine lees for a period of roughly 12 months

and then aged for 6-8 months in Cadus French oak barriques

A rich brooding wine with layers of dark chocolate, plum and spiced fruit cake. Stylish mocha oak notes. The palate is dense with ripe mulberry and berry compote and generous supporting oak. The tannins are savoury and long with spicy refined finish.
