Baltic Amber Necklace, double strand with wood pendant. c. 1940s. j-nlbd2218 Oval Hand blown Venetian hollow artThis unique necklace features a combination of multicolored nugget amber beads and modernist wood pendant. The beads are graduated flat nugget shapes spaced with a gold plated tubular bead between. This piece has a gold plated clasp and is 23 inches long, with the pendant and the second amber strand about 26 inches long. A single strand goes behind the neck. Original in composition, the necklace is strung on silk thread. Circa 1940's.
