Walter Dixon No 6049 D. Coy 2nd K. O. Y. L. I. 8th October 1906, with silver hallmarks denoting Sheffield manufacture, lion passant, and date mark for 1866, with makers mark beside in the form of a W&H in a flag, the rim is engraved COLONEL SIR JOHN E BINGHAM BART J. P.
