The practice most notably came from CBGB's, the legendary New York City venue. For most of the 1980s, they'd start off every Sunday with a sweaty packed house showcasing some of the best and coolest bands from the local scene and afar. In the 1990s, the hardcore matinee was continued for a time at Coney Island High. On Sunday March 28th, a crew of tri state area bands collided for what
