This handy tool takes the guesswork out of this process. Simply position this tool over the cutter and use a depth gauge file to remove any part of the raker above the slot. Center drop depth gauge works best with 3 8" pitch low profile saw chain, but will work on all styles. Tool is heat treated for durability.
