Instituted May 1, 1840. (Issued 1849 1919). Consisting of a white enameled cross pattee in silver gilt, the obverse with a light blue enameled medallion bearing the leftward facing bust of Philip the Magnanimous in gilt, surrounded by a white enameled ring inscribed SI DEUS NOBISCUM QUIS CONTRA NOS (If God is with us, who is against us) in gilt, the reverse with a light blue enameled medallion
