Ladyburn 12 Year Old 1980s Jack Daniel's About 15 miles south ofLadyburn was a short lived distillery, constructed from a set of pot stills by William Grant & Sons in the corner of their Girvan grain complex in 1966. Only operational for 9 years (from 1966 to 1975), it was intended to provide malt Whisky for blending2, before the needs of the Girvan distillery expaned and Ladyburn was dismantledthus making it one of Scotland's shortest lived Single Malts.
