A Second War German Luftwaffe Glider Pilot Badge By Steinhauer & Lück Auction on Civil ribbon)Constructed of zink alloy; two piece construction; the obverse consisting of an oak wreath with a mobile swastika on the bottom of the wreath, and an eagle that was separately soldered onto the wreath; vertical needle style pinback with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; measuring 55. 95 mm x 52. 68 mm; unmarked however exhibiting the manufacturing characteristics of Steinhauer & Lck, weighing 21. 4 grams; better than fine condition.
