A Mint & Early Quality Luftwaffe Pilot’s Badge By Gebrüder Schneider Of Vienna Auction 83 mm x 83 mmA fine early quality textbook example of a Pilotenabzeichen; two piece construction; in silvered and patinated tombac; the obverse consisting of an oval wreath with laurel leaves towards the left half and oak leaves towards the right side of the wreath, separated by three small ribbon like loops on the bottom, with a large patinated eagle with spread out wings superimposed on the badge clutching a swastika in its talons; two rivets on the reverse;
